Entrepreneurship. From visitor to user.
When creating www.uuxuu.net, i was thinking an useful service making people's life easier would be a hit
Wrong. If people have to go on your website to get an easier life, it's already too complicated. From there, don't even think about asking them to pay.
It may work for someone with a lot of money and connections. For them, it also may appear to work, but actually just taking more time to die.
Starting a company from "scratch" (as in "life scratch" - no money, no connections or so few real ones) is a challenge.
You have to bring visitors much more than just showing them a webpage. The visitor makes the investment of displaying the HTML of your application in his web browser. Like an investor, the visitor is waiting for some kind of profit from your website. Your first goal should be to make them glad they landed on your application.
And then, maybe, the magic happens : The visitor becomes user.
